Deputy Director's messages with the Florida Attorney General's office on certificates of non-existence
This request asks for emails, Teams messages and work texts of the National Records Center Deputy Director from July 1, 2026 that were exchanged with the Florida Attorney General's office, or that mention Florida's Attorney General or statewide prosecution together with certificate of non-existence terms.
Why it matters
Under USCIS's April 2026 Federal Register notice, a certificate of non-existence is issued only when USCIS finds no immigration records about the person named; if it finds records, it tells the requestor so instead. These records would show whether and how the center discussed those certificates with the Florida Attorney General's office.
