How USCIS fixes it when its system mixes up two people

USCIS uses an automated system to decide which records belong to the same person. This request asks how staff catch and fix it when the system wrongly links two different people, who has to sign off on the fix, and how the fix carries over to the person's other records.

Why it matters
If the system mixes up two people, one person's immigration history can land in someone else's file. These records show how those mistakes get caught and fixed.
