Quarterly Nightingale compliance reports
This request asks for copies of the quarterly Nightingale compliance reports (reports tied to the federal lawsuit over USCIS delays in releasing immigration files), in both versions produced: the A-File version (A-File means a person's immigration file) and the "SIG" version. It asks for the reports as they were sent out, for each quarter from January 1, 2024 to the present.
Why it matters
The reports would let the public see the agency's own internal compliance figures.

Extension invoked
USCIS told the requester it would invoke the 10-working-day "unusual circumstances" extension the law allows (5 U.S.C. 552(a)(6)(B)). What an extension meansTimeline
